Argued by many as the discipline of 'raw magic', the Resonance discipline covers both manipulating and reading the echoes that subtly travel through the resonance. This permits practitioners to do everything from observe distant effects by interpreting the faintest echoes caused by them, to dispelling or preventing magic and making magic easier or harder to cast in a given area.

Resonance Magicians are extremely highly sought after — largely because they are also the most able teachers of magic. The spells that permit them to observe resonance echoes let them see exactly what a given spellcaster is doing on a magical level, and help them identify mistakes or adjustments they need to make to cooperate with their own nature.
