Leveraging the resources of a major political and corporate alliance during the Selaphae Civil War, Moondale R&D under the leadership of Serelle Alanein has been putting experience and understanding of magic into a more present era. The Alanein family had already born a heavy influence in magical research - early predecessors responsible for understanding the foundational operations of Thermal magic.

Moondale R&D has since expanded into many magic-related fields, though predominantly favours hard-magical science, such as thaumatology and cheostry, rather than investigations into spirits or extraplanar resources. Their primary product line, a variety of 'firearms' called Resonance Conduit Arms, have been used heavily by magically-gifted arms of militaries and police forces to permit them to compete with developing ballistic firearms.
